North Carolina Pollsters Complete Ballots with “YES” on Amendment 1

May 08, 2012 By: jaysays Category: Headline, Marriage Equality

Huffington Post and others have been reporting possible voter fraud in North Carolina, including ballots that exclude Amendment 1, which bans same-sex marriage and domestic partnerships.  This, however, takes the cake when it comes to intimidating voters:

I was given a ballot that was already filled out for Amendment One.  I made them give me a new one. – N. King

I don’t see how this could be true, at least in my NC city. Voting is done by electronic screen, so there is no way that could happen. There is no ballot to be filled out, and you are given a chance to go back and review your choices and change any mistakes before you submit.

Also, the ballot workers in my precinct were very professional and kind. I voted and campaigned against Amendment One. I was open about it. I had no problems.

In the county that I voted in it was not electronic. It was a ballot slip and a pen. This could of very much so happened.

    • Fyxation sponsored some prizes for the Australian Nationals 2 weeks ago… Not session 700’s but nonetheless, kudos for being one of the few international sponsors…The 3 sets of tyres were included with the 3 sets of Chukker 36h wheelsets from Velocity. Expect to see Leigh, Rob and AJ them on the court soon (even though none of them are running 700cc bikes at the moment
